Elite Maids started in 2013 with a small management team, ten years of professional cleaning behind them in Canada, and one idea: a Dubai cleaning company that employs its own people. Today more than 500 company-employed cleaners look after homes and businesses across the city — and the idea has not changed.
How we got here

2013
Built in Dubai, for Dubai
The founders had spent a decade running professional cleaning in Canada, where a company hires, trains and stands behind its cleaners as a matter of course. Arriving in Dubai, they found the opposite: apps that connected you to whoever was free, and nobody accountable when it went wrong. Elite Maids was registered that year with the Department of Economy and Tourism to do it the other way.
The first years
Hiring people, not sourcing them
The first cleaners were interviewed, background-checked, trained in-house and put on Elite Maids contracts with sponsored visas, uniforms and equipment. It was slower and more expensive than a marketplace, and it is the reason the standard held as the team grew. The AED 1,000 damage cover on every booking dates from these years: if we send the cleaner, we own the outcome.
Growing up
From apartments to airports
Regular home cleaning in Marina, JLT, Business Bay and Downtown grew into deep cleaning, sofa, carpet and mattress work, then move-in and move-out cleans for tenants and landlords. Property managers and holiday-home operators followed, and so did commercial sites — offices, retail, schools, gyms and airport facilities — where the same trained, uniformed team works to a written scope.
Going digital
Booking in two minutes
Bookings moved from phone calls to the website, then to the Elite Maids app for Android and iOS, and to WhatsApp for people who would rather just message. Same-day slots, instant confirmation, card or cash on the day — and a person answering the phone from 8 AM to 8 PM, seven days a week.
Today
More than 500 cleaners, more than 10,000 homes
Elite Maids is now one of the larger employers of cleaning staff in Dubai, working from our office in Jumeirah Village Circle, seven days a week from 7 AM to 8 PM. The company is DED-licensed and insured, every cleaner is still directly employed, and a booking still comes with the same promise it did in 2013: if it is not right, we come back and fix it.
We pay our cleaners fairly, train them properly and stand behind every job. That is why clients come back to us year after year.
We employ our cleaners. Most “cleaning companies” in Dubai don’t.
A lot of what looks like a cleaning company here is an app that connects you to whoever is free. There is no employment relationship, no shared training and nobody to call when something breaks. It is cheaper to run, which is why it is common.
Everyone in an Elite Maids uniform is on an Elite Maids contract. We hire them, sponsor them, train them and insure them, which is the only way we can promise the same standard on every visit and put our name on the result.

Separate from the insurance: a service guarantee on every booking. If something is broken during a clean, we settle it with you directly, up to AED 1,000.

The people behind every clean
More than 500 cleaners work for Elite Maids, and every one of them is trained, uniformed and on our payroll. Most customers meet the same cleaner week after week; many have had the same person for years, which is the quiet reason a regular booking with us feels different from ordering a stranger through an app.
Behind them is an office team in Jumeirah Village Circle that answers WhatsApp and the phone from 8 AM to 8 PM, schedules more than a hundred visits a day, and reads every piece of feedback. If a review names a cleaner, it reaches that cleaner.
