How long does marble polishing take?
Most rooms are done in a few hours and the whole job is completed within 24 hours of the visit. A large villa ground floor or a lobby may take a full day; crystallising adds an hour or two of curing.
Can I walk on the floor the same day?
Yes for scrubbed, steamed and polished floors — usually within an hour or two once dry. Freshly sealed or crystallised stone is best left overnight before heavy furniture goes back.
Do you move the furniture?
Yes, anything that can be moved by two people. Very heavy pieces are worked around and the estimate says so. Clearing small items beforehand helps the visit run faster.
Can you remove scratches and stains from marble?
Light scratches, etching from juice, wine or cleaning products, and most surface stains come out with honing and polishing. Deep gouges and stains that have soaked into unsealed stone may lighten rather than disappear — the survey tells you which before you book.
How often should marble floors be polished?
Every 12 to 18 months for a busy family home or a lobby; every two to three years for a lightly used villa, with a scrub in between. Sealing after polishing stretches the interval.
Do you clean floors in offices, shops and buildings?
Yes. Office lobbies, retail floors, corridors and building entrances are polished after hours, as a one-off or on a schedule inside an office or commercial cleaning contract.
